You are not required to create an account or provide personal data to use SayNotes. A random user ID is assigned and is not linked to identifiable information.
Users can create an account using an email address to securely store and sync data across devices. Your email is only used for account recovery and remains stored until changed or deleted by you.
If you choose to create an account, your audio recordings will be stored securely on our servers for cross-device access. Data is encrypted and encryption keys are stored in separate jurisdictions for enhanced security. You can permanently delete all recordings at any time from the app settings.
We follow modern best practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
We use OpenAI for voice-to-text and AI-powered editing features. Audio and text data shared with OpenAI is used strictly for transcription or editing purposes and not for any other use. Your IP or account info is never shared.
